How to Maximize MicroBlogging to Make Money Online

Microblogging sites such as Twitter, BrightKide, and Xanga have taken the internet by storm and will soon change the way that most people communicate with their friends, peers, and customers. This constant communication is the perfect marketing tool and top business minds are already figuring out how to maximize microblogging to make money online.

The first thing to understand if you want to use microblogging to make internet profits is that is can be very time consuming if you don’t get leverage. There are dozens of sites that are microblogging communities, and trying to build a relationship with potential clients on each site could be a huge black hole for your time.

The key to maximizing microblogging sites for making money online is to use tools that will allow you to post on multiple sites simultaneously. One of my favorite sites is called ping.fm, and it allows me to post on over a dozen blogs, statuses, and microblogs with the push of a single button. The initial set up requires a little time because you have to create accounts for each of the sites that you want to post upon, but the effort is well worth the result.

You can also specify if you want to post only to blogs, microblogs, or statuses (such as MySpace or Facebook), so you have control as to how your postings show up. This kind of leverage can be fantastic if you want to let people get to know you, or promote your videos, articles, blog entires, etc. to large groups of people.

Ordinarily it would take you hours just to post one promotional item on all of these sites, but now you can do it from your cell phone on the run. Maximizing microblogging to make money online is all about leverage and getting your promotional messages in front of as many people as possible. Try it out and watch your profits grow.
